programme due to start in October 2017. The Certificate is a foundation course in Information Technology (IT). It
has been designed to introduce attendees to a broad area of topics relating to the use of Information Technology in
business. The course is suitable for anyone from a school leaver to a mature adult looking to change his or her
career. The Certificate will also serve as a bridge for those aspiring to join institutions of higher learning for
Diploma or Degree programmes in Information and Communication Technology. The programme will be run by
the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and will be offered as an evening programme. </span></div>
